what do you do when you wake up?
eat?
...drink?
watch Tv?
text your friends?
How about we start with the remembrance of Allah,
When you wake up say,
"Praise is to Allah Who gives us life after He has
caused us to die and to Him is the return."
الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
"Praise is to Allah Who gave strength to my
body and returned my soul to me and
permitted me to remember Him. "
"الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي فِي جَسَدِي، وَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي، وَأَذِنَ لِي بِذِكْرِهِ"
and/or
There is none worth of worship but Allah alone,
Who has no partner, His is the dominion and to
Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things.
Glory is to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is none worth
of worship but Allah. Allah is the Most Great.
There is no might and no power except by Allah's leave,
the Exalted, the Mighty. My Lord, forgive me.
"لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدَ،
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، ولَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا
اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ العَلِيِّ الْعَظيِمِ، ربِّ اغْفِرلِي"
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "When any one of you sleeps,
Satan ties three knots at the back of his neck.
He recites this incantation at every knot:
`You have a long night, so sleep.' If he
awakes and remembers Allah, one knot is loosened.
If he performs Wudu', the (second) knot is loosened;
and if he performs prayer, (all) knots are loosened.
He begins his morning in a happy and refreshed mood;
otherwise, he gets up in bad spirits and sluggish state.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
After that get up and make wodoo' (abolition)
And pray Duha (morning prayer)
it's as if you gave charity on your 360 bones!!
Are we in to loosen all the knots;)
